Eric Hoots, DVM, MS, DACVS

About Dr. Hoots

Dr. Hoots graduated from the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and completed a combined surgical residency/master's degree at Kansas State University in 2007.  Board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, Dr. Hoots held positions in academia and private practice before settling in the Pacific Northwest.  He founded Veterinary Surgical Center to provide locally owned and operated specialty surgical care for pets of the Puget Sound region.  He resides in University Place with his wife, Dr. Emily Hoots, their daughter, and myriad pets.  In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, playing golf, grilling/smoking meats, gardening, and watching football.
